Record number of visitors to the Waterperry frescos

The fresco paintings at Waterperry House are open to the public most of the year. The guided tours are particularly popular.

This year, the total number of visitors who have taken a tour since the frescos were completed in 2006 reached 10,000. 

Those who go on the guided tours of the fresco paintings, learn about the history of the project, the work involved in bringing it to fruition and the stories and philosophical concepts behind the images used in the paintings.  Recent visitors have commented on the tour as ‘fascinating’, ‘enlightening’, ‘brilliant’ and ‘totally enjoyable’!
